Floating boathouse

Our Ranger series can be registered as a vessel that can be used as a pleasure craft, or to transport building materials, furniture etc., to water access or hard to develop shorelines. Our ramps can be fitted with winches, which enables the ramp to be lifted or lowered as necesssary.

Our first covered barge was registered as a vessel in 1985 and all the materials used to construct our cottage were transported using this model.

Most of our models can be fitted with an outboard motor mount and can be propelled with as little as a 6hp, or up to a 9.9hp motor, or if preferred a boat can be secured in the slip and used to propel the barge.

Load capacities vary from approximately  8,000-14,000 lbs.
